Charity Clothing Drive

Our first ever spring clothing drive is here! Mark your calendars and start cleaning out those closets!

I’ve partnered with New Circles to accept clothing donations. As a Scarborough native and immigrant newcomer who lived the community this charity supports, it holds a special place in my heart.

Here is how it works:

  • We’ll be accepting donations in the following regions:

    • York Region (Markham, Stouffville, Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill) - Saturday, June 10 (9am to 11am)

    • Peel Region & West Toronto (Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke) - Sunday, June 11 (9am to 11am)

    • Central Toronto, Durham Region & East Toronto - Saturday, June 17 (9am to 12pm)

Yes, you read correctly, I’m happy to pick the items up directly from your house!

**Exact pick up time will be provided 24 hours before.

About New Circles

New Circles Community Services is a not-for-profit, grass-roots agency that builds strong and caring communities by providing basic necessities to those living in poverty. They provide much needed clothing, social programs, and skill building opportunities to individuals living on a low-income, with a focus on residents of Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park, Victoria Village, and Taylor-Massey (including Crescent Town), many of whom are newcomers to Canada.

Their core mission is to ensure that local families struggling with poverty can meet their basic need for adequate clothing. They operate the largest clothing bank in Toronto under the name of GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear), designed to offer a retail shopping experience that preserves dignity for clients. They also provide emergency relief city-wide for individuals in immediate need of clothing. GLOW has 13,000 visits annually.

Thanks in advance for your kindness and generosity! Please reach out if you have any questions.
